Our main services offered are retained Executive Search (all levels) and Legal Interim Management. We cover all sectors of the legal and tax professions (lawyers, in-house, public sector, notaries, consulting firms). We also specialize in team transfers and law firm mergers.

Function

As a Legal/Tax Recruitment Partner, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with clients to define the ideal candidate profile for Legal/Tax professionals, both in law firms and companies and for big 4 or similar consultancy firms;
  • Searching for potential candidates through our database and your own network. You will identify candidates, screen them based on their experience, personality, and skills;
  • Providing regular updates and reports to clients on the progress of the search process;
  • Compiling a shortlist of best-suited candidates based on thorough evaluations.

Throughout these responsibilities, you will uphold Vialegis’ core values, including absolute discretion, a service-minded approach towards clients, and a drive to help candidates find opportunities aligned with their needs.

Profile

To excel in this role, the following qualifications and attributes are required:

  • Qualified as a Belgian lawyer with at least 3 years of professional experience in a law firm and/or as an in-house Legal Counsel;
  • Preferably with Big4 or similar experience;
  • Passion for working with people and excellent communication skills;
  • Service-minded and highly discreet in handling confidential information;
  • Thrives on challenging searches and is result-driven;
  • Fluency in Dutch and French, with a thorough knowledge of written and spoken English.
